Greetings from the Neches River, specifically from the Friends of the River National Wildlife Refuge!

The Neches River National Wildlife Refuge, operated by the US Fish and Wildlife is free and open to the public from dawn to dusk daily. The Friends of the Neches River National Wildlife Refuge is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization with the mission of supporting the USFWS in the development and operation of the refuge. â€‹

Please make a generous tax-deductible donation so we may continue our support of the Neches Refuge, with projects like assisting with drilling a water well for the refuge headquarters, placing a culvert on a hiking trail and hosting events at the refuge located on Hwy 79, between Jacksonville and Palestine Texas.
