Lynn Willhite found the Neches River Refuge by attending one of the field days. Because she has always appreciated nature, she was delighted when asked to serve on the Board of the Friends.  Finishing up her second term on the Board, Lynn celebrates the many positive developments made at the Refuge that allow more people to enjoy this beautiful area.
Lynn, a retired United Methodist minister, is Founder and Director of WE CARE Palestine, a non-profit whose mission is to initiate positive, caring relationships both in neighborhoods and across the Greater Palestine area.
